Your new role
1. Construction of mechanical equipment.
2. Installation of equipment at our customers’ locations worldwide.
3. Reading engineering drawings.
4. Fault-finding and rectification.
5. Leading small mechanical teams.
6. Provide guidance and instruction within a team of fitters.
7. Training and development of junior fitters.
8. To be actively involved in task management.
9. Navigation ofpany software to access part drawings and material requirements.
10. Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping.
11. Set standards and lead by example in accordance withpany policies and procedures.
12. Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety requirements.
13. Ensurepletion of equipment daily check sheets and management of findings.
14. Support off-site work with the above.
What you'll need to succeed
15. Significant hands-on experience of mechanical equipment, assembly, and machine building.
16. Experience of using hand and power tools.
17. MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided.
18. Proven ability to deliver projects and solve problems.
19. Knowledge of SAP business software desirable.
20. Demonstrated team management experience.
