Teaching Assistant – New Options Primary School - Bower Lodge, Dibden
Location: Bower Lodge School, Southampton, SO45 5TD
Salary: £20,906.25 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Start Date: September 2025

We are part of Outcomes First Group and are operating within the 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, with full pay during the trial period.
Responsibilities
* Connect with brilliant pupils and young people we care for, supporting learning and ensuring they get the best from their education.
* Provide learning materials and run classroom activities with hands-on experience and supervision as needed.
* Support pupils' emotional and physical needs, helping them develop as individuals and engage with the world.
* Collaborate with the team to build a supportive, caring environment and share skills and learning with colleagues.
* Adapt to a variety of classroom roles (indoors and outdoors) according to individual needs; lead activities and supervise field experiences as required.
All applicants will be subject to safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS as part of the recruitment process.
Requirements
* Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths, Science and English
About Us
Our New Options Primary School – Bower Lodge, located in Dibden, Southampton, has a capacity for 40 pupils aged 4–11 with autism and related complex needs. Options Autism has provided care and education for over 16 years. We are part of Outcomes First Group and are committed to advancing education for neurodivergent learners with measurable outcomes.
