Civil Structural Designer Location: Warrington -- Hybrid
Permanent and Contract (Inside IR35)
Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an Civil Structural Designer for a permanent and contract position in Warrington location. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Construction or highly regulated industry.
We have both contract and staff positions available.
As a Civil Structural Designer you will be responsible to carry out all design activities and participate in internal and external design reviews, supporting the Project Design Lead & Lead Civil and Structural Engineer.
Depending on size and complexity, you may be the responsible Civil and Structural designer for one project or a portfolio of projects. You will identify changes to the design scope and report them to the Project Design Lead & Lead Engineer. Drive quality in all engineering designs, including checking discipline design deliverables to company procedures.
More than 5 years of experience as a Civil and Structural designer in single-discipline and multi-discipline projects within an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company in one of the mentioned sectors.
Deep knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, or similar software, and capable of carrying out designs without supervision.
Sound knowledge of Civil and Structural engineering and design, as well as other disciplines (EC&I, Mechanical, Piping, and Process).
Ability to produce and develop design deliverables including 3D models, GA drawings, steel detailing, reinforced concrete detailing, and relevant schedules.
Ability to assist in the delivery of site surveys of existing assets, including the production of site survey reports.
