Our client is looking for an experienced structural engineer with knowledge and experience of heritage and conservation works, along with refurbishment projects to progress the expanding portfolio within the Heritage team. The office is based in North Kent with client sites across the south east within radius of London. They are looking for someone that can manage their diary and do site visits with weekly attendance to the office.
This well established engineering design consultancy client is involved with heritage and conservation projects - they currently employ Conservation Accredited Engineers (CARE) and they will support gaining this accreditation for the right candidate.
As the successful candidate you will be working together with the Partners and assisted by in-house engineers and technicians, lead the Heritage work, as an ongoing business strategy to expand services in this sector.
The successful candidate will be an experienced structural engineer (nearing Chartered status) with a very strong interest in heritage and conservation.
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to monitor and manage their workload and liaise with clients and contractors.
Experience of heritage and conservation projects is essential along with good sketching abilities. The position offers excellent career opportunities within the practice and the wider conservation community.
