Offer description

Overview

An exciting opportunity to work within our Business Services Team at Royal Primary Care to cover 9 months maternity leave. This will be based at one of our Chesterfield sites. We are looking to employ 2 part-time administrators for a fixed term 9 month period to cover maternity leave. We have 2 vacancies to cover: 1 x 30 hours per week and 1 x 19 hours per week. The role involves working within the reception team with a focus on achieving excellent patient care via the telephone and face to face, carrying out GP approved triage to ensure patients see the correct clinician first time, and being a first point of contact for patients and other healthcare providers. Please see the attached job description for a full breakdown of the duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

* Work as part of the reception team to deliver excellent patient care via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
* Carry out GP approved triage to ensure patients see the correct clinician first time.
* Act as a first point of contact for patients and other healthcare providers.
* Support flexible or predictable working arrangements where possible and appropriate for service needs.

Flexible Working

If you're looking for flexible or predictable working arrangements, please speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate this. If it works for our service and patients, we will do our best to make it work for you.

COVID-19 Vaccination

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is committed to the safety of all staff and patients and therefore encourages and supports staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as this remains the best line of defence against the virus.

Immigration and Sponsorship

* Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the United Kingdom (UK) are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
* From 1 January 2021, non-UK/non-RoI nationals require sponsorship to work in the UK unless you have permission to work via another route.
* Non UK/RoI candidates may self-assess the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship here: Work in the UK - GOV.UK.
* Overseas applicants must provide a criminal record certificate from each country of residence for 12 months or more in the past 10 years.
* Health and Care Worker visa may be an alternative option for eligible applicants, which can be cheaper and does not require paying the immigration health surcharge.

Communications

Communications throughout the application process will be via e-mail; please check your e-mail and Trac account regularly. References are requested by email where possible. To speed up the recruitment process, provide an email address for all referees when completing the application form. If you require support with the application form, contact the HR Support Services team on 01246 513177.
