As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. The Priority Progression Cell (PPC) Operative exists to deal with all High Priority demands from Units, Land, Sea and air. They are responsible for ensuring Kuehne & Nagel deliver demands within the timeframe required to meet customer expectations and requirements.
How you create impact
1. Operate to trained work instructions. ABC Modules/WI
2. Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
3. Picking and packing in both DFC and Main site
4. Operating of Warehouse Management systems (WMS)
5. Escalations and system investigation
6. Loading and unloading of vehicles
7. Booking of transport/couriers, processing returns and missed collections
8. System monitoring and data entry
9. Completing and filing documentation
10. Customer service
11. Use of MHE where required
12. Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
13. Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents/incidents
What we would like you to bring
14. Experience of working to agreed targets
15. PC Literate
16. MHE Licence (where applicable)
17. Understanding of warehouse practices. picking, loading
18. Ability to work individually or as part of a team
19. Highlight/escalate anything not in line with policy and procedure both physically and systemically
20. Reliable and committed to attending work on time
21. Good communication skills
22. Ability to achieve high level of accuracy
23. High attention to detail
