Daley Recruitment are seeking for multiple Forklift drivers for a builder merchant company based in New Southgate on a permanent position.
This role will require you to work as a Forklift driver, be customer service based with customers in person and pick and pack stock in the warehouse.
Role:
- Monday to Friday (Work 1 weekend in 3, with Sunday as paid mandatory overtime)
- Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 17:00
- 42.5 Hours per week
- Salary £29,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Operating the forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Making sure all orders picked and packed correctly
- Labelling orders making sure they are ready for dispatch
- Supporting the click and collect service
- Handling all materials with care and making sure their is no damage or loss
- Ensuring customers requirements are met in timely, controlled and recorded manner
- Helping customers with any help they require
Requirements:
- Must have an in date counterbalance licence
- Have worked in a fast paced environment
- Previous building merchant experience or home improvement retailers
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Ability to work on your own
- Ability to maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the working area
