Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
* Oversee transport operations, ensuring efficient vehicle utilisation and on-time deliveries.
* Implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement in service levels, fuel efficiency, and cost control.
* Work closely with site-based transport teams to ensure consistent processes and best practices.
* Lead strategic route planning and fleet optimisation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ensure fleet maintenance schedules are adhered to, minimising downtime and ensuring compliance.
Compliance & Safety
1. Ensure full compliance with all transport regulations, including Operator Licence requirements, DVSA, and Working Time Directive regulations.
