Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This Doctor will have the opportunity to communicate and interact with a full health care team including nurses, primary physicians, health aids, family and ophthalmologists. Along with this, the doctor will be in close contact with our own administrative and professional staff who are extremely helpful and supportive. Responsibilities Comprehensive routine and medical eye exams Perform dilated exams Provide diabetic evaluations Treatment of infection and injury Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease Comfortable working with the geriatric population Requirements OD license Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day Benefits Paid Time Off Malpractice Insurance Why Work With Us?
