Offshore Structural FEA Engineer

12-Month Contract
Responsibilities
* Conduct structural analysis using Finite Element software (ABAQUS/ANSYS).
* Perform detailed stress analysis of offshore structures.
* Utilise structural analysis tools (SACS, STAAD, GT-STRUDL).
* Execute design calculations per industry codes (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, Norsok).
* Review and approve structural drawings.
* Prepare high-quality design reports and maintain records.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Requirements
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team.
* Experience in offshore structure design (oil & gas/wind).
* Knowledge of offshore wind foundation design practices.
* Familiarity with offshore wind regulations, codes, and standards.
* Understanding of fatigue assessment methods (time domain, spectral, deterministic).
* Experience with advanced structural problem-solving techniques.
* Programming skills (Python, C ) are a plus.
