Salary: £18.75 per hour + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday - DAYS - 37 hours
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join a busy PSV engineering team maintaining and repairing modern buses and coaches. This is a great opportunity to work on a varied fleet in a safety-critical environment where quality and reliability matter.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on PSV (buses & coaches)
* Repair and replacement of wiring looms
* Working on CANbus systems
* CCTV, destination equipment & telematics systems
* Lighting systems, battery systems & charging faults
* Diagnosing multiplex electrical systems
* Supporting MOT preparation & vehicle inspections
* Working to DVSA standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (PSV, HGV or commercial vehicles)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Experience working with CANbus & multiplex systems
* Ability to read wiring diagrams
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Electrical Systems (desirable)
* Own tools preferred
* Full UK Driving Licence (PCV licence beneficial but not essential)
