Role
As a Dedicated Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will help others feel safe, welcome, and supported. You may patrol key areas, manage gatehouse duties, and serve as the friendly face clients rely on. You’ll be part of safeguarding a site for one of the world’s leading aerospace and defence organisations. Due to the site’s security requirements, applicants must be a British National and have lived in the UK for at least 5 years.
Responsibilities
* Meet, greet and assist visitors/staff/contractors
* Carry out regular site patrols, focusing on health & safety and security
* Ensure compliance with government regulations
* Assist in an emergency (e.g., site evacuation) and conduct staff searches where required
* Maintain an alert and vigilant approach to identify potential threats or changes and take appropriate action
* Maintain accurate logs/records of visitors, staff, contractors, couriers, activities and incidents
* Ensure thorough handover after each shift between security personnel

Qualifications
* A valid SIA licence (DS licence)
* 1+ year security experience
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
* British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (site requirement)
* Strong communication skills in English—written and spoken
