Overview
First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with the Team Manager and customers requiring service, technical support, and propose new opportunities for further work.
2. Update the schedule weekly, including holidays and sickness, and send it to the Team Manager.
3. Ensure all relevant paperwork, including work sheets and reports, is returned to the office within one week.
4. Provide regular feedback on customer base and potential business opportunities to the Team Manager and Sales team.
5. Undergo audits and site inspections as required to improve standards.
6. Manage health and safety issues related to themselves, customer sites, and subcontractors.
7. Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on industrial and aviation fueling equipment and associated systems, reporting issues promptly.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with client information.
9. Undertake any other work or activities as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
* N.V.Q Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance/Installation (desirable)
* Mechanical Engineering Modern Apprenticeship (desirable)
* C&G Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
* Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering (optional)
* Clean UK Driving Licence
Location: London and the South
Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum
