Job Overview Based in our 7-bay maintenance facility at Culcavy, Hillsborough, Co. Down, the successful applicants will conduct all aspects of planned and unplanned maintenance & inspections of a large fleet of curtain sided trailers and tractor units in a safe and efficient manner. Role Maintenance, service and repair of HGV Trucks and Trailers Vehicle Inspections Pre PSV inspection & preparation Call out to breakdowns, fault diagnosis, and repairs. Work to strict deadlines and planned workload. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation. React to changing situations to accommodate additional workload and reduce delays. Criteria Ideally hold an industry recognised qualification and 2 years experience in a similar role Welding experience preferred HGV licence preferred but not essential. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills Must be a Positive & Customer focused individual. Effective communication skills & literacy skills Flexible approach to working hours in a dynamic environment. Ability to work as part of a team. Awareness of health and safety standards Excellent pay rates to reflect various levels of experience.
