Ob Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer (Commercial)
Location: Kent (Mobile Role)
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full-Time)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover commercial properties across Kent. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is confident carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works, ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on electrical systems across commercial sites
* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns
* Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of electrical equipment
* Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
* Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and health & safety standards
* Complete job reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation accurately
* Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional manner
* Identify opportunities for improvement and report any potential risks or issues
Requirements
* Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* Proven experience working within commercial environments
* Strong experience in PPMs and reactive maintenance
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule
* Strong communication and organisational skills
