Excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter and Joiner to join a respected and well established independent school, working within a well equipped on site workshop environment supporting a large and diverse estate.
This organisation is a high performing independent day and boarding school with outstanding facilities and a strong, long standing Estates team. The workshop plays a key role in supporting boarding houses, teaching buildings and sports facilities across the campus, with a stable team and low staff turnover. The previous Lead Joiner dedicated over three decades to the school, reflecting the long term nature of the opportunity.
This hands on role involves manufacturing furniture, fixtures and fittings within a well equipped workshop using panel saws, crosscut saws, spindle moulders and routers.
