Pay: £37,500.00 - £40,000.00 per year. Starting Salary: £37,500 (PIP) - £40,000 (WCA) + bonus scheme and benefits. Location: Hybrid (office and home working) Yeovil. Hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5.
Role
We are recruiting for registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Yeovil who want to use and to build upon their clinical skills and knowledge and benefit from the excellent work life balance and professional development that a career as a PIP OR WCA Functional Assessor can give you.
Responsibilities
* Undertake a combination of file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP OR ESA benefits and provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims.
* Assess how a disability affects a customer’s day to day life and performing work related activities.
Requirements
* One year\'s post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
* Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
* Excellent observational and communication skills, giving the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper.
* The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.

* Salary uplift: £1000 after the first 6 months and a further £1000 after 12 months.
* Work-life balance: 9am – 5pm contracts with no nights; weekends of shifts required.
