The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a busy, growing team 🙌. This is a hands-on operational role, managing the end-to-end coordination of import and export shipments across sea, air, and road 🌊✈️🚛. You’ll deliver a seamless service to clients, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and on time ⏰.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full cycle freight forwarding operations (import/export – sea, air, road) 🌍
* Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents 📦🤝
* Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs entries, etc.) 📝
* Track and monitor shipments, proactively resolving any issues 🔎
* Provide regular updates to clients and build strong relationships 📲
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures ✅
* Quoting and negotiating freight rates with suppliers and customers 💬💸
About You:
* Proven experience in freight forwarding (imports/exports, multimodal preferred) 📚
* Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation 🧾
* Excellent communication and organisational skills 🗣️🗂️
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously ⚡
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving 🧠
* IT literate (experience with freight management/forwarding systems advantageous) 💻
