Care Assistant – Waterhouse Manor Care Home
Package Description: Shift Details: 8 AM to 8 PM. This role is a full‑time position. As a Care Assistant you will deliver high standards of personal care, support the care team, and contribute to the care plan of each resident.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection, and report any identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
* Support the care team and participate in care planning.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications & Experience
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrated initiative, respect, and teamwork.
* Efficient worker able to carry out instructions from other team members.
* Adaptive and flexible enough to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
* No prior experience required – thorough induction and training programme will be provided.

* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
