Winner Education are working with a primary school in Coventry who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is a long-term role, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, providing hands-on care and classroom support.
What You'll Do: Support pupils with SLD, ASD, challenging behaviours, sensory needs, and many who are non-verbal
Assist with classroom activities and practical learning experiences
Provide personal care where required
Support pupils during breaks, lunch, and other school activities
Work alongside teachers to implement individual learning plans
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
What We're Looking For: Experience supporting pupils with SEND (SLD, ASD, sensory needs, or challenging behaviours)
Resilient, patient, and physically able to support active pupils
Ability to provide personal care when needed
Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to pupils' needs
Previous teaching experience is a bonus, but not essential – agency teachers with SEND experience may also be considered
