Support Worker - Ernest Bold Adult Short Break Service
£12,580 - £14,120 (Grade 5)
Contract type - part time, permanent
Hours - 16hrs per week working every Saturday and Sunday between 7am and 10pm on a rota basis
Ernest Bold provides overnight short breaks for people with a learning disability aged 17 and upwards.
The aim of the service is to enable people with a learning disability to access opportunities that promote independence.
We are seeking a weekend support worker with enthusiasm, the right values, and experience in supporting people with learning disabilities to maximize their potential.
The post holder should be flexible, responsive to service priorities, and able to collaborate with colleagues and professionals to ensure a high-quality, safe, and effective service.
The candidate must have a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent and complete mandatory training as required.
This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
