We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Personal Assistant to support our expanding Administration Service. The role will support our Executive Management Team and will be based within our Administration Hub located at the Stein Centre. The postholder will provide an efficient, effective administration and organisational support service to the Team.
We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess a commitment to team working and an innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.
The Wirral Administration Service consists of 4 administration hubs. We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to our colleagues across the Wirral locality to improve the safety, health and well-being of the people within our area.
We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, attending meetings to take minutes, typing of correspondence, reports, agenda and minutes using either Winscribe or copy typing. The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated. This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical team. The applicant will also be expected to provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
* Good level of education including GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline
Desirable Qualifications
* ECDL
* Other Business or administrative qualifications
Essential Knowledge & Expertise
* Experience using the full range of secretarial procedures, software programmes including email, internet and Microsoft Office software packages – Word, Power Point, Excel.
* Organisational and planning skills, with the ability to effectively time manage.
* Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret information.
* Effective minute taking skills.
Essential Experience
* Significant experience of working at a similar level.
* Experience of supporting a Senior Management Team / Executive Directors.
* Experience of communicating with Senior Management.
Desirable Experience
* Experience of working in the NHS or public sector.
