You will monitor and inspect roadworks undertaken by internal and external contractors, public utilities and developers, investigate and report on public liability claims, assess road defects and issue repair instructions as per the Councils Risk based policy.
You will enjoy a challenge, be enthusiastic to new ways of working and complete work to ensure targets are met.
Good communication/interpersonal skills, IT skills and a current driving licence are essential.
Previous experience in roads and traffic operations, a HAUC certificate and City & Guilds/ONC/SVQ or equivalent qualification are desirable.
