This role is to help them develop positive coping strategies, build confidence, manage emotions, and improve their conduct to succeed academically and socially, through one-on-one sessions, implementing behaviour plans, and liaising with families and teachers. They provide calm, consistent support, de-escalate challenging situations, and foster self-regulation.
Key Responsibilities
Mentoring: Conduct one-on-one sessions with students to understand their needs and build rapport.Strategy Development: Help create and implement personalised behaviour management plans and coping mechanisms.
Emotional Support: Assist students with emotional regulation, resilience, and building self-esteem.Classroom Support and monitoring
Teach strategies for managing anger, frustration, and social difficulties.
