Maths Tutor – Rayleigh
The Opportunity
As an Maths Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver tailored lesson to bridge gaps in pupil’s education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.
We require a Maths tutor to provide additional teaching for a small group of pupils.
Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
Contract/Position Details:
1. Location – Within the local school
2. Position – Maths Tutors
3. Type of work – Contract
4. Start date – ASAP
5. Duration – Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
6. End date (if applicable) – Ongoing
7. Contract type – Temporary
8. Part time – Monday – Thursday, 15:15 – 16:15
9. Minimum rate of pay – £25 per hour
10. Hours – Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the family
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Maths Tutor:
11. QTS or equivalent
12. Possess UK classroom teaching experience
13. Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
14. Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
To be eligible for this role, the potential Maths Tutor must:
15. Hold the right to work in the UK
16. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
17. Provide two professional child-related references.
