Located in the heart of Manchester, our
22-bed specialist in-patient detoxification unit
offers a clinically safe and evidence-based detox service. Here, you will be part of a team that provides
Psychosocial Interventions (PSI)
alongside medically managed detoxification, all centered around a recovery model that prioritizes the individuals we support. Your Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will: Collaborate with clinical and recovery teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. Engage clients through group work and activities, providing individual support. Empower individuals to make informed choices about their recovery journey. The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who: Has proven experience in a busy environment as a Recovery Worker or in a similar role. Possesses a deep understanding of substance use and the Recovery Agenda. Is flexible and knowledgeable about relapse and barriers to recovery. Has excellent communication skills and ideally holds a vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3 or equivalent.
