* Contribute to the delivery of National Elevation Data Programmes with accurate data handling and reporting.
* Collaborate with the Geomatics team and other National & Area teams to co-deliver monitoring requirements.
* Prepare and analyse LiDAR, aerial photography, bathymetry, and satellite data as part of evidence-based work.
* Demonstrate effective data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience/skills Required
* A relevant degree in Geography, GIS, Environment or another relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent experience with understanding of operational applications.
* Practical GIS experience using ESRI products (ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap) and ability to work with large and complex mapping datasets, preferably including Airborne LiDAR.
* Experience processing and quality controlling LiDAR datasets and LiDAR-derived Digital Elevation Models is advantageous.
* Experience in Remote Sensing techniques, analytical and problem-solving skills, and good attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills, motivation, professional attitude, and ability to communicate effectively; able to work with limited supervision to meet deadlines.
