Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages to hotel guests and visitors in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring compliance with hotel standards
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring excellent service at all times
- Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel recipes and guest preferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cocktail trends, wine lists and beverage pairings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, equipment and stock
- Monitor guest behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with licensing laws
- Support the Food & Beverage team with stock control, ordering and inventory checks
- Promote hotel facilities, events and loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience

Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating when necessary
Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar F&B service role (preferably in a hotel or luxury environment).
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines and beers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
