We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a rolling programme of restaurant refurbishment projects for a well-known national hospitality brand. The business delivers approximately 12-20 full refurbishments per year, alongside smaller repair and maintenance works.
Each project is bespoke, involving multiple designers and fast-moving programmes, making this an ideal role for a commercially astute PM who thrives in complex, live environments.
The company operates under an Employee Ownership Trust, offering long-term stability and annual performance-based bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Attend project presentations with the client's project managers and designers to fully understand scope, constraints, and expectations
2. Plan and coordinate the annual programme of works, managing frequent date changes and shifting priorities
3. Price projects from drawings only, including value engineering where budgets are exceeded
4. Procure materials and manage suppliers nationwide, balancing cost, quality, and lead times
5. Appoint, manage, and coordinate subcontractors, including negotiation and scheduling
6. Produce detailed construction programmes and full Health & Safety documentatio
7. All projects are independently audited and scored for H&S compliance
