Role Details
Our Band 5 positions typically cover a range of admission, medical, surgical, care of the elderly, and rehabilitation wards. The majority of the caseload will be inpatient-facing, but outpatient services are also provided to general clinics and MDT lipid clinics.
You will gain experience in supporting food policy initiatives, promoting MUST screening, and delivering training and education to patients and healthcare staff. This includes clinical teaching and assessment of dietetic students from the University of Plymouth on their placements.
You will work alongside specialist dietitians with expertise in food policy, gastroenterology, diabetes, critical care, surgery, frailty, and oncology.
