Were looking for a skilled CNC Router to join a growing engineering company in Derby!
This is a hands-on role where youll set up and operate CNC routers to produce high-precision components for a variety of projects. Full programming training will be provided, so this role is ideal for operators who want to expand their skills. Youll work in a modern, clean, and highly organised facility with opportunities for career development and progression.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with flexible start times and early finish on Fridays!
What youll be doing
* Set up and operate CNC routers to produce precise components
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models (training provided)
* Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient production
* Monitor production and carry out inspections to ensure high-quality results
* Resolve machining issues and maintain smooth workflow
* Plan jobs efficiently to minimise waste and maximise productivity
* Work safely and collaboratively as part of the team
* Learn CAM programming and advanced CNC techniques through on-the-job training
Hours
* Flexible day shifts (38 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
* Monday-Thursday: choice of 7am-3:30pm / 7:30am-4pm / 8am-4:30pm / 8:30am-5pm
