Engineering & manufacturing - aeronautical development consultant - remote

Would you like to be involved with supporting the development of qualifications in Aeronautical? We are looking for Development Consultants to join our team and be part of a growing network of associates. This role gives you the opportunity to work with City & Guilds alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates and contribute to expanding your skills and development.

Responsibilities

• Scoping qualification content – e.g., qualification and unit structures, rules of combinations, assessment design
• Writing unit content
• Drafting assessments and sample assessment materials – e.g., multiple‑choice question papers, knowledge tests, practical assessments, professional discussions, portfolios of evidence
• Reviewing and amending assessments as part of reviewing panels or as a scrutineer
• Reviewing the mapping of content against standards or other qualifications

The person specification outlines the expectations of the role and the experience that we are looking for someone to have as a Development Consultant.

The Two Standards That Aeronautical Covers Are

• L3 Aircraft Maintenance Technician
• L3 Aerospace Engineering Technician

As part of your role, you will receive contextualized training for each development that you are involved in, and will be expected to attend online, face‑to‑face meetings as well as taking on some remote activities.
