We're on the lookout for a Transport Operator to join our team on the Fuchs contract. This is a full:time, permanent role working the mid shift, Monday to Friday, 10:00 : 19:00.
You'll be at the heart of ensuring our transport operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to GBP 26,200 per annum. As well as this, you'll receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks. There is also an opportunity to learn and progress through the transport operation.
What you'll do on a typical day:
As a Transport Operator, you'll report to the Transport Shift Manager and be at the heart of our operations:
Operations
Coordinate 18+ drivers
Manage sub:contract bookings and dispatch
Oversee vehicle loading and driver dispatch
Communicate with customers, hauliers and internal XPO Network Sites
Handle debrief paperwork and proof of delivery
Support planning, maintenance, and KPI reporting
Maximise vehicle utilisation and build strong haulier relationships
Service Levels
Ensure on:time deliveries and report delays
Maintain accurate and secure documentation
Support efficient document retrieval and compliance
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Essential: 1:2 years' experience working within a transport office or office environment.
Essential: Strong communication and administration skills, able to handle different personality types
Essential: Great organisational skills, management capability and strong influencing skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel would be an advantage but training will be provided.
