Overview

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support the inclusion and learning of student(s) with Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability in line with Hayes policy and practice, and the Equalities Act 2010. The role will be to work across the school, as directed by the SENCO/Assistant SENCO, to support a range of students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability. You will need to demonstrate a professional approach in all aspects of work with colleagues, students and parents/carers and to be a role model to students, demonstrating a positive and problem-solving approach at all times.

Special Educational Needs Includes Any Combination Of The Following

* Communication and interaction
* Cognition and learning
* Social, mental and emotional health
* Sensory and/or physical

Our school benefits from and actively contributes to a range of partnerships and we are the lead school for the Bromley Schools’ Collegiate, a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider for primary and secondary teacher training.


Salary

Scale 2 (point 3-4) £24,137- £24,482 (Actual)

As soon as possible

Responsibilities

* Provide day-to-day support for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability across the school as directed by the SENCO/Assistant SENCO.
* Support inclusion and learning in line with school policies and practice.
* Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and well-being.


Qualifications / Requirements

* Ability to work effectively with students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability
* Professional approach and strong communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues andparents/carers
