Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Engineering and Operations team

Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Dungannon
Reporting to: Manufacturing Lead
Hours of Work: 39.75 hours per week
What you will do
You will play a pivotal role within the Engineering and Operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures and equipment to maximise safety, quality and delivery, and to minimise cost of manufacture.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Plan, coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of machines.
2. Coordinate with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish / implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.
3. Implementing best practice standard work on shop floor to improve safety and quality and maximise efficiency.
4. Management of BOMs and material movement through Plan For Every Part.
5. Develop ergonomic processes designed around Lean Manufacturing principles including Yamazumi and 5S.
6. Provide production support to production departments.
7. New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, production launch.
What you will bring
Experience & Qualifications:
8. BEng in Engineering or relevant experience.
9. A sound knowledge of manufacturing, material management and industrial engineering.
10. Computer literate.
11. Good English communication skill, both written and spoken.
12. Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
