Contract Quality Engineer (6 Months)
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Onsite – Dunstable (preferred)
Pay Rate: £35.00–£40.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Responsibilities
* Support the creation, review, and completion of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Provide general quality support across the department
* Maintain and improve quality systems, processes, and documentation
* Work alongside engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Aerospace sector experience (essential)
* Strong background in quality engineering within regulated manufacturing environments
* Experience with FAIRs and AS9102
* Audit experience (internal, external, or supplier)
* A proactive, detail-focused approach and ability to hit the ground running
