The Procurement Department is seeking 2 dynamic young people to join their team. The successful candidates will be bursting with enthusiasm and ready to learn how to become either an Assistant Purchasing Officer within the Procurement Team or a Ward Product Management Operative within our Stores and Logistics Service.\n\nThe Procurement Department provides a professional Procurement service to all NHSGGC Divisions, including contracting, purchasing, storage, stock management and distribution, legal requirements, project management services and procurement management data. Also provides professional advice to NHSGGC and Directorate Management on procurement matters, including financial control information to budget holders.\n\nThe Stores & Logistics Service provides a comprehensive supply chain management service to NHS organisations within the Health Board. This includes procurement of goods and services and the requisition of goods from the National Distribution Centre and external suppliers, from where goods are supplied then distributed to theatres, wards and departments.\n\nThese departments play a pivotal role in securing both goods and services for the organisation at the best prices. For anyone who has an interest in Procurement this is a very rewarding job.
