Overview
Are you interested in respiratory patients and a caring nature that can help this client group improve their everyday lives by providing support to manage anxiety and symptom management? Our team is focused on patient-centred, community-based care. You will work alongside occupational and physio therapists to help provide access to cognitive behavioural therapies (one-to-one or in a group) and assist colleagues with their management interventions. A full training and induction programme is available for the right candidate. This role is for 22.5 hours per week across East Kent, with bases in four localities; you will work across all areas and must be flexible in approach and travel across East Kent. A car and driving licence are required for use as part of the role.
As a respiratory therapy assistant practitioner, you will deliver high-quality patient care along a care pathway across organisational boundaries. You will support senior colleagues to deliver individualised treatment plans for patients with complex respiratory conditions and work with allied health professionals to deliver the symptom management programme in 1-1 and group settings. You will also monitor and assist with equipment provision.

* Additional pattern: 22.5 hours between Monday and Friday (pattern to be agreed).
