We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Events Executive on a casual hours basis at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
Wood Hall Hotel & Spa is a 44-room luxury country house retreat in West Yorkshire with an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a small health club and spa.
About The Role
* The role involves handling event enquiries and converting them to sales, and coordinating handover to operations to ensure high service and attention to detail.
* Sales focused: recommend solutions to satisfy clients' needs and budgets.
* Plan events such as weddings, private dinners, or large birthday celebrations to deliver memorable bespoke experiences.
* Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure workplace; follow protocols and collaborate with team to meet department goals.
* Build positive relationships with clients from the first conversation, instilling faith in your expertise.

About You
* Previous experience in an events executive role within a 4/5 star luxury hotel environment.
* Passion and knowledge of weddings, events, and conferences, including current market trends.
* Self-reliant and able to act on initiative where appropriate.
* Working knowledge of Opera preferred but not essential.
* Methodical, highly organized approach, systematic in work.
* Ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service in a professional, approachable manner.
* Professional, organized, friendly approach; anticipate guests' needs and create memories.
