Principal Transport Planner
Location: Central London
Salary: £55,000+ (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Hybrid Working (2:3 or 3:2)
A specialist transport planning and development planning consultancy is seeking a Principal Transport Planner to take on a leadership-focused role in their London office. This is a key appointment for someone with strong experience in transport planning, development planning, Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, and advanced junction modelling (ARCADY/PICADY/Junctions 9/10/11).
This consultancy supports developers across the UK on large strategic residential sites, urban regeneration, mixed-use schemes, and major planning applications. The Role
As a Principal Transport Planner, you will:
1. Lead projects in development planning and transport planning, taking technical ownership
2. Oversee delivery of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, EIA chapters and supporting analysis
3. Lead junction capacity modelling using ARCADY/PICADY/Junctions 9/10/11
4. Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level planners
