Overview
Our Assistant Stylists are critical to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You'll deliver the very highest standard of pet care, whilst demonstrating a basic understanding of technical concepts relating to preparing and clipping of a dog for grooming, including handling techniques, using equipment, and pre-grooming preparation.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate passion for delivering a great service to customers and their pets.
* Work flexibly across a busy retail environment; pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays). Minimum contract of 39 hours, with additional hours during busy periods, absences and holidays.
* Have experience of working with or handling dogs in a professional dog grooming or pet care environment (desirable, but not always essential). Bathing and prepping your own dog does not qualify as professional experience.
* Preferably have experience working in a customer-facing environment. Experience in target-driven environments is advantageous.

* Attractive rates of pay plus commission, subject to targets
* 28 days paid annual leave, rising to 33 days after 2 years (includes 8 bank holidays; pro-rata calculated on contracted hours)
