They are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Paint Sprayer to join their growing production team! Industrial Paint Sprayer Roles and Responsibilities: * Assist in all paint operations and support other production areas as needed * Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking * Apply 2-pack epoxy and polyurethane coatings using appropriate techniques (e.g., spray gun, brush, roller) * Mix and handle 2-pack paints safely, following manufacturer specifications and COSHH guidelines * Monitor curing times and environmental conditions to ensure optimal finish quality * Conduct visual inspections and thickness testing to meet quality standards * Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment * Assist in other production areas when required * Follow all Health & Safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives The Industrial ideal Paint Sprayer will: * NVQ/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent * Proven experience with 2-pack paint systems (epoxy/polyurethane) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Familiarity with surface preparation and finishing standards * Understanding of PPE and safe handling of hazardous materials * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Monday – Wednesday: 13:30 - 23:30 and Thursdays: 13:30 - 23:00 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
