Are you a passionate about teaching in P.E. & looking to for a new position this term?
A fantastic, highly rated secondary school in Central Coventry are looking to recruit a full-time P.E. Teacher to join their supportive team after the October half term in November 2025. To be considered you should be comfortable taking on a timetable which will include all year groups within the secondary range and ideally A-Level (KS5) classes also. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress and Teacher support/ development. The role will initially be to cover maternity absence but further work will be available at the school for the right candidate.
Experience/ willingness to cover other subjects within secondary education is desired by the school as part of the weekly time table may involve cover supervision.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality Physical Education sessions across the secondary age range (and ideally KS5).
* Take on a timetable that includes all year groups and, where appropriate, cover supervision for other subjects.
* Initial role to cover maternity absence with potential for further work for the right candidate.
Qualifications
* QTS or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma
* Experience in the sports coaching and/or education sector
* Ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
* Knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
