Agri Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Operator
Support the Site Manager with the safe operation of the AD site, including loading and sorting of feedstocks via Telehandler, data collection, analysis and reporting, general site housekeeping, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, and assisting with planned downtime of key equipment for safe and cost‑effective overhaul.
Responsibilities
* Operate Telehandler and load/sort feedstocks safely.
* Collect, analyse and report site data.
* Perform general housekeeping and maintain site cleanliness.
* Assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and key equipment downtime.
* Monitor the AD process remotely via SCADA.
* Follow procedures, protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
* Experience in a related process or manufacturing industry.
* Ability to work unsupervised and handle physical, dirty work.
* Knowledge of operating a Telehandler, confined space, working at heights and first aid.
* Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems is advantageous.
* Understanding of environmental, safety and quality management systems.
* Strong cost‑control awareness and budget‑working experience.
* Excellent teamwork and self‑motivation.
Job Details
* Full UK driving licence required with Telehandler licence.
* Rotating shift pattern, including weekends, calls out on rota basis.
* Overtime paid for approved additional hours worked.
* Full time, 42 hours per week.
* Salary up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus allowance and overtime.
