IT Support // Service Desk Analyst // 1st Line Support // Leicestershire // initial 3-Month // up to £25/hour (Umbrella)
REED Technology are recruiting on behalf a client for an experienced IT Support Technician to join an established IT team on a 3-month contract. This is a hands-on, on-site role providing 1st line technical support across a busy organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for IT support, resolving incidents and service requests.
* Provide 1st line support for Microsoft products (Windows OS, Office 365, Teams, etc.).
* Troubleshoot PC hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
* Log and manage tickets through an ITSM system, escalating when needed.
* Work to SLAs and contribute to service improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in 1st line IT support.
* Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products and Windows operating systems.
* Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work full-time on-site and cover shifts between 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.
