IT Procurement Portfolio Lead
Manpower is looking for an interim IT Procurement Portfolio Lead to work with our global FMCG client Unilever. This full‑time temporary role runs for 6 months, 36.25 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, and is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. It offers a mix of remote and onsite work and pays up to £100,000 per annum (pro‑rata).
Key Accountabilities
* Partner with the Tech Foundation Leadership team to understand business needs, develop procurement sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management strategy.
* Align strategy and execution with Unilever Compass, Global Divisions, Functions & Markets goals, Procurement Lighthouse Strategy and GDT Strategy.
* Deliver against financial targets and other KPIs, accountable for results across all markets, PMUs, divisions and functions worldwide.
* Drive vendor rationalisation of the portfolio at global and market level, working with regional procurement, Enterprise Architecture, product domain owners and the Mirai Programme Team.
* Lead a geographically dispersed team, inspire, develop and support staff while cultivating a healthy business culture.
* Support talent pipeline development and promote the TWGH culture toward team vision and mission.
* Lead rigorous execution of priorities and transformation initiatives worldwide.
* Ensure portfolio fundamentals—data consistency, insights, stakeholder communication, contracts—are in place.
Key Requirements
* Highly experienced in IT procurement, especially in software strategic sourcing.
* Expertise in strategic sourcing, portfolio strategy, and managing complex portfolios at global or multi‑regional level.
* Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
* Solid understanding of supply markets, value chain, and FMCG; plus knowledge of cloud, network, infrastructure, and related portfolios.
* Experience in strategic supplier relationship management; familiarity with Microsoft, Google, ServiceNow, Oracle is a plus.
* Large‑scale project management experience.
* People‑management experience, leading a virtual global team.
* Proven leadership in shaping and driving transformational business process re‑engineering and change‑management initiatives.
* Knowledge and passion for sustainability, including social sustainability.
Additional Information
* Occasional travel to the Port Sunlight office may be required.
* Contractors based at Kingston receive free parking at a local carpark.
