ROLE: Electrical/Mechanical Supervisor
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 8am - 5pm.

About the role

We're looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a commercial/industrial site, ensuring building services operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
Role responsibilities
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
1. Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services including LV systems, lighting, small power, distribution, BMS and associated equipment
2. Support the safe operation and repair of all M&E and fabric services on site, working within Permit to Work systems, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
3. Participate in the on‑call rota, including out‑of‑hours and weekend work where intrusive maintenance is required
4. Proactively identify faults, escalate health & safety concerns and support energy efficiency initiatives
5. Use CAFM systems and handheld devices to complete reports, update work orders and monitor subcontractor performance
Required qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
6. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
7. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS)
8. IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to work towards)
What we're looking for
9. Significant experience (ideally 5 years) working within electrical building services in commercial or industrial environments
10. Good all‑round knowledge of mechanical building services
11. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
12. Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a site team
13. IT‑literate, numerate and comfortable using CAFM and digital reporting tools
