We are seeking aFinance Manager for a Plymouth based manufacturing company. This is an initial 3-month fixed term contract with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This role oversees the sites financial performance, manages daily transactional workflows, and produces accurate monthly management accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, providing variance analysis and financial commentary to senior management and the group board.
2. Oversee all core accounting operations, including Billing, AR/AP, General Ledger, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition.
3. Forecast and manage company cash flow and liquidity, overseeing banking requirements and transactional accuracy.
4. Lead and mentor the Finance Assistant to ensure high performance while driving a culture of continuous process improvement.
5. Partner with Sales and Operations to align financial performance with production planning, cost control, and efficiency initiatives.
6. Manage the companys budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations and schedules are maintained.
