Overview
Thomas Telford UTC was established in September 2020 to provide the young people of Wolverhampton and the surrounding region a unique combination of excellent academic achievement and first-class preparation for their future.
The Role
The Safeguarding Officer will work as part of the central safeguarding team, supporting the effective operation of the safeguarding service on a day-to‑day basis in school and can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the central safeguarding team
* Support the effective operation of the safeguarding service on a day-to‑day basis
* Collaborate with external agencies and handle social care thresholds
Qualifications
* Experience working in safeguarding and pastoral support within education
* Knowledge of external agencies including social care thresholds
* DBS enhanced clearance (required)
