We have an opportunity for a Research Nurse or Research Coordinator to join our unique respiratory team at Royal Brompton Hospital. This is to support the delivery of a multi-site CTIMP UK study. The role will involve screening, recruiting and providing intervention for a short window. This will include data entry and follow ups
Main duties of the job
The applicant will play a key role in recruiting to a novel multi-site study for patients with respiratory illness; providing intervention and follow-up. They will ensure that the study is undertaken in a manner that safeguards the well-being of patients/research volunteers and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Amended Regulations 2006.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post will include recruiting and delivering the intervention of the commercial and non-commercial study. Including working with the local team and participants direct MDT. They will also support data collection, entry and quality checking. You will be required to attend research meetings on a monthly basis. You will work closely with a dynamic multi-disciplinary research team to deliver this portfolio study.

Knowledge/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Registered Nurse on the NMC register OR relevant degree/experience in clinical research or healthcare
2. Evidence of on-going professional development.
3. With relevant post graduate experience or training course in mentorship
Desirable criteria
4. Specialist qualification - Degree level.
5. Experience in mentorship or teaching

6. •Significant relevant post registration experience
7. •Knowledge of current issues within acute health care
8. •Understanding of personal accountability.

10. •Recent NHS experience
